To ensure the security and authenticity of all registered members, Pure zawaj requires each UK resident to provide two forms of identification before their account can be approved. This process is essential in maintaining a safe and trustworthy platform for everyone.
Photo Identification
You must provide one of the following as a valid form of photo identification:
- UK Passport: A valid UK passport with your photograph and personal details.
- UK Driver’s License: A full or provisional UK driver’s license that includes your photograph.
- UK Residence Card: A UK residence card or Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) with your photograph.
- National Identity Card: A valid identity card issued by an EU/EEA country or Switzerland with your photograph (only applicable for EU/EEA/Swiss citizens residing in the UK).
Proof of Current Address
In addition to the photo ID, you must also provide a document that verifies your current residential address within the UK. Acceptable forms of proof include:
- Utility Bill: A recent utility bill (e.g., electricity, gas, water) dated within the last three months, showing your name and UK address.
- Bank or Building Society Statement: A bank or building society statement from the last three months that includes your name and current UK address.
- Council Tax Bill: A council tax bill for the current tax year that lists your name and UK address.
- HMRC Documentation: A letter from HMRC (e.g., tax notification, P60) dated within the last 12 months, showing your name and UK address.
Your account will only be approved once the admin team has successfully verified both forms of ID. This process is crucial to ensuring that all members on the platform are genuine, fostering a secure environment for everyone and keeping in line with Islamic values.
